Ingredients
For the Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Crust:
- 2 (8-ounce) cans crescent roll dough
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Set the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
Make Cheesecake Filling: In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Layer First Dough: Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the greased baking dish. Stretch slightly to cover the entire surface.
Add Cheesecake Layer: Evenly spread the cheesecake filling over the dough.
Top with Second Dough: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and carefully place it over the cheesecake filling, pressing lightly to seal the edges.
Brush and Sprinkle: Brush melted butter over the top dough layer and sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Bake: Place in the preheated oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
Cool & Serve: Let cool completely before slicing. Serve warm or chilled.
