A creamy, indulgent twist on classic Alfredo sauce, this Boursin Alfredo is rich, velvety, and bursting with garlic and herb flavors. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or an elegant pasta dish to impress guests! Serve it over fettuccine, gnocchi, or even roasted vegetables for a deliciously comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta 🍝
  • 2 tbsp butter 🧈
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
  • 1 cup heavy cream 🥛
  • 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese 🧀
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
  • ½ tsp black pepper 🌿
  • ¼ tsp salt 🧂 (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional) 🌶️
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped 🌿
  • ½ cup pasta water (as needed) 💦

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining. Set aside.

2️⃣ Make the Sauce – In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

3️⃣ Add Cream & Cheese – Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Boursin cheese, breaking it up as it melts.

4️⃣ Incorporate Parmesan – Add the grated Parmesan cheese, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Stir continuously until smooth and creamy.

5️⃣ Combine with Pasta – Toss the cooked fettuccine into the sauce, adding a splash of reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce. Stir well to coat every strand.

6️⃣ Garnish & Serve – Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with extra Parmesan if desired. Enjoy!
