Ingredients
- 🥔 1 lb (450g) store-bought filled gnocchi (cheese, truffle, or spinach ricotta)
- 🧈 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 🫒 1 tbsp olive oil
- 🧄 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 🧀 ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 🌿 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped (optional)
- 🧂 Salt and black pepper to taste
- 🍋 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
Instructions
Heat the Pan: In a large nonstick skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat until melted and bubbling.
2️⃣ Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3️⃣ Pan-Fry Gnocchi: Add the filled gnocchi in a single layer. Cook for 3–4 minutes, undisturbed, until golden brown on one side.
4️⃣ Flip & Crisp: Toss or flip the gnocchi and cook for another 3–4 minutes until crispy on all sides.
5️⃣ Season & Serve: Remove from heat, season with salt and black pepper, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, basil, and lemon zest (if using).
6️⃣ Enjoy! Serve hot with a side of marinara sauce, pesto, or extra Parmesan.
